Clever

I can't come up with anything new to say,
my creative muscles feel used up and dry,

I've been wanting to do something clever,
or say I love you in a new way.

But what can I say, it just won't appear before me.

It's because I haven't flexed my mind.
I haven't drawn in a full month.
I haven't written anything in a long long long time.

Even this is a stretch

Now that I'm out of school,
I don't really get presented with opportunities to think.
I find myself having to challenge myself, and quite often it's just easier to not think at all and continue on.
